These terms cover your use of the myClubGolf apps and website, including Scorecard, RyderCup, and Bets (together, "the apps"). By using the apps you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
The apps help a private golf group run its events — recording scores and handicaps, running skins, team games, and match play, and organizing friendly side games. They're provided for that purpose.
Most events don't require a personal account — you join your event and go. Some organizer features are protected by a password that the event's own organizer sets and manages; keep it to trusted organizers. You're responsible for what's done under access you've been given.
Scores, standings, and event records you enter are shown to other players in the same event, the same way a posted paper scorecard or leaderboard would be. Organizers with admin access can correct entries. You keep ownership of the content you enter; you grant us permission to store and display it as needed to run the event.
When you link a GHIN number, the apps retrieve your handicap index and course handicaps from the USGA/GHIN network. That data belongs to the USGA and is subject to its terms; we display it to run your event and don't control its accuracy or availability.
Bets is a tool for organizing friendly games among a private group. It is not a gambling service, a bookmaker, or a money-transfer or payment service — it does not hold, move, or settle money. Any wagers are private arrangements between the people involved, who are solely responsible for them and for complying with the laws that apply to them.
We work to keep the apps reliable but can't promise they'll always be available or error-free, and we may add, change, or discontinue features. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
The apps are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that scores, payouts, standings, or handicap data are error-free — please double-check anything that matters, like money.
To the extent allowed by law, myClubGolf is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes over scores, payouts, or wagers between players. The apps are a convenience for running your event, not the official record of any competition or debt.
